Our pathetic losses as of late have been team losses. I feel like we are turning on our team every time we lose a game.

I think we can blame you for all our Wild loses.

You could hear the Xcel crowd boo'ing on TV against Columbus. I have never cared for boo'ing the home team, I don't think it helps anything, but that pathetic performance deserved boo's.
There's a difference between competing but losing, and not even showing up... The Xcel crowd has cheered it's collective butt off for many losing efforts - because there WAS effort by the Wild - but this last game was so horrible, it's very hard to not be very disgusted with the Wild players (excpet Parrish, Voros, Gaborik and Hill). Other than that, the players clearly earned those boo's IMO.

Boo frick'en hoo. They deserve it until they collectively step up as men and start playing the game like they are earning their paycheck. And if guys are standing out during this slump, they deserve to be called out. If you want rah rah spirit, start following your local high school team.

yeah i'm never for booing the home team either, but I almost joined in. The plays that really got me were the ones where our players were backing off the puck when we had every reason to throw caution to the wind and attack! We're down 3-0 for godsake! why the hell aren't you stepping up on someone coming at you on a 1 on 2? WTF?

Uh, they're PROFESSIONAL athletes earning more than you and I could ever dream of. If they can't handle a few boo's hurled at them, then they need to find a new job.

If its the team then I want my $160.00 back for each game they fail to give it their all.

Your ticket stub gives you every right to boo if you don't feel that you're getting your money's worth. They sell out every night. They owe the fans a concerted effort each and EVERY night! As others have stated, if they don't want to get booed, either go sell vacuum cleaners or move your arse and put forth some effort! Not skating and then taking lazy obstruction penalties because it's easier than actually moving their feet is cause for booing. Those things are unacceptable.
I'll be honest, I don't pay for tickets to the Wild. Prices are way too high. It's not only the ticket prices but the parking and concessions as well. Everyone involved wants their shot at gouging the fans. I get tickets from work from time to time and that's the only way I can go. I can't and won't pay the exhorbitant prices they get for attending games. If others are willing to pay them, that's their prerogative. I don't begrudge them, it's their money.
I know that, if I was a season-ticket holder, I'd not only boo the team, I'd fire off emails to Naegele and Risebrough on a daily basis, demanding a better return on my investment. That cute little Warming House with people waiting to buy season tickets is filled to the brim with people who want cheap seats. Nobody on that list is clamoring for the lower bowl tickets.
The honeymoon may not be over yet but that time is drawing ever closer. If the team hadn't had that magical playoff run in 2003, there would be nothing positive to come out of the first 8 years of Wild hockey. Sooner or later, you need to do whatever it takes to pay the fans back for their loyalty. They aren't going to back the "Little Engine That Could" forever.
I could go on and on but this post is too long as it is.

The Predators outshot them by a wide margin and the Wild were lucky to escape with a win. Not exactly a "show", if you ask me.

I remember a few years back the X, myself included, was booing the Wild's non-shooting powerplay and it deserved it.

I dont mind the booing, they totally deserved it, but after every lose we pick 1 or 2 people who didnt score or skate hard and put the blame on them. I dont get it.

Hey...that ugly sort of play requires booing. Now if you're gonna choose one person to blame, it's gotta be Skoula. Who's gonna argue? I think he is JL's strategy to keep eyes off everyone else...he's a genious. And when things get really bad...pair him with Johnnson!
