Well unfortunitely you and i have a difference of opinion because i don't think there's anything their GM can do to make his team a playoff team. Sundin and Demitra even together i don't think would be enough to put them over the top, and i also highly doubt both would sign. No, i think this team is destined to be the seller dweller of the division next year.
You can't be serious? You don't have to like the Canucks, but you shouldn't be arrogant out of spite. Sedins, Bernier, Sundin, Demitra, Kesler, our D, and Luongo is more than enough to get into the playoffs. It's still not enough to beat Detroit so it doesn't really matter. However, first we have to sign these players for this to be fact. You know Luongo is going to win 30 games regardless, if he can get some support, the Canucks will be looking alright.
The Wild have also lost a significant identity of their team. Two of your leading scorers in Demitra and Rolston are gone, and replaced with 35 year old Brunette, and 36 year old Owen Nolan. The Wild are not in as good a shape as everyone is here is making them out to be, though it will be an interesting year none the less. The division got weaker, and Edmonton got stronger. At this point, anything can happen.
